As a full-time Non-Denominational Wedding Celebrant and Officiant, my time is dedicated to creating personalized, heart-centered and memorable wedding ceremonies for couples of all faiths and traditions.

Professional & Spiritual Beliefs

My life philosophy is spiritual in nature with love, kindness and compassion at the core of all I do – even if doing the right thing is difficult at times. As an ordained, non-denominational minister, I respect all personal and private beliefs – religious, spiritual or secular. I do not use a wedding ceremony as a platform to promote my personal beliefs but assist a couple in celebrating their relationship.

I grew up in Michigan and graduated from Syracuse University in New York. I was raised in the Christian tradition and appreciate and respect the tenets and rituals of all religious, spiritual and secular paths. I now pursue a personal spiritual path, am a voracious reader of spiritual text and my best friend calls me, “one of those life-long learners.” I am a Certified Celebrant and have a Diploma in Marriage Celebrancy through the Celebrant USA Foundation, where I am also a faculty member. My Life Behind Closed Doors

I come to this work with a big and sensitive heart, a happy life and marriage, great friends and an abiding love for animals.

I spent 5 years on-air in broadcast journalism on the East Coast in my early days. I built two event planning companies in Redmond, WA and managed both over a 15-year period before selling them to pursue other endeavors. So, now you know – I’ve got “special event planning DNA” running through my veins which often makes me a little dangerous!

My husband, Greg, is the love of my life and to me, the most wonderful guy on the planet. We live on Bainbridge Island with a property full of special needs dogs, all rescued from abuse and neglect. And my free time is dedicated to animal rescue and rehabilitation.
