Clint and Karen Larsen
It was absolutely a remarkable experience – and emotional experience for me – to participate in Clint and Karen Larsen’s wedding ceremony on February 2oth ~ Thornewood Castle.
To make a long story short, Clint came down with the swine flu in December and spent many days in the hospital, including 17 days in a medical coma. Karen was at his side the entire time, devoted beyond words to the man she loves.
Clint came out of the coma and in a few weeks was standing next to Karen sharing heartfelt vows that left not a dry hankie in the room…this included the gentle humor woven into Karen’s vows that had all of us giggling…yes, giggling!
Karen’s four sons participated in the ceremony and the room was cozy and packed with family and friends who were beyond thrilled for the miracle of this day.
Clint and Karen – you are a remarkable, gracious and steadfast couple and you remind all of us what a true spiritual partnership is all about.
