Ah, the fab month of January. Wedding shows everywhere! Each year, I go to the “biggie,” – the Seattle Wedding Show.
Truth? It’s a fun hour or two for me to zip up and down the aisles to hello to my wedding biz friends and colleagues. I also like to see what’s trendy and new for the upcoming wedding year.
But most of all, it’s all about the cake.
Yes, I’m a Baking Goddess at heart and I love talking to the local cake bakers and artists who create and deliver thousands of wedding cakes each year. I leave with a goodie bag full of cake samples and take the ferry back to Bainbridge Island on a sugar high. Ah, the secrets of a
