- Weston & Tanya Alvers
Westin and Tanya’s wedding ceremony was fabulously “them” – humor, sweetness, a few fun moments including unexpected cheers/waves from on-lookers on the hill and a seaplane flying over head.
And here’s what I know about Gasworks Park, having officiated there a number of times over the years. It’s not the easiest venue for a wedding ceremony. In the Summer, it’s packed, chaotic and parking is challenging. Thankfully, Weston and Tanya did their due diligence with permitting and planning and their moment went off without a hitch – well, almost. The chairs failed to show up but that didn’t dampen spirits!
If you are considering a wedding at Gasworks Park, follow in the steps of Weston and Tanya – do heavy planning – be smart and expected the unexpected – and pray for parking!
